This grand 3 storey seaside home was designed for a family with adult children. Two tone timber finishes with textures in stone, glass and metallic paint were used in the kitchen, creating a central focus to the surrounding living spaces. The family areas overlooking the sea, and teenager’s quarters behind, which opens to the pool, were designed to meet the family’s needs, whilst maintaining continuity throughout. The furniture and furnishings in the open formal living space were selected to create a sophisticated conversation space, maintaining a connection with the main living spaces. The master suite upstairs was decorated in a timeless elegant manner, creating a haven for the owners.
Project commenced in 2008, once plans were decided and building commenced, Virginia stepped in to create the ambience of the home through colour, texture, furniture, furnishings, art and ornamentation.
